Retention

Permanent retention is essential in order to reduce the chance that your teeth will relapse into their original position. We recommend that each patient wear each removable retainer nightly for the rest of their lives

Retainers must be kept clean and a safe in a retainer box. You should avoid cleaning with boiling water, toothpaste and hard brushes, as these will damage and distort your retainer.

If retainers are lost or damaged, charges will apply. For a list of prices, please see Our Prices.

“I broke a tooth the day before I went on holiday and contacted your practice for an emergency appointment. I was immediately booked with Dr David Bevan, who did an excellent job of stabilizing the tooth, allowing me to go away without any discomfort at all !
He also prepared a treatment plan to fix the tooth permanently on my return. David is an excellent dentist and all your practice staff are very professional and efficient. I would like to thank all your staff for excellent service.”
